iCloud Calendar Spam Follow Up

A few days ago I wrote about receiving spam invites on my iCloud calendar and how I couldn’t delete said invitations without replying to the spammer. While a solution was provided, a quick search on Google reveals that this is now a much more widespread issue than I had thought.

Apple desperately needs to find a way to prevent this spam vector, or at the very least provide an intuitive solution to decline these invites without replying to the spammer.

Update: Apple are working on this issue, as confirmed in a statement to iMore’s Rene Ritchie:
